Don is the founder and author of Life Works in Threes!™ Collection. He is a lifelong Texan who has traveled extensively while taking a keen interest in human behavior. His curiosity about life and what drives humans led him to the discovery of how life works in threes. He coined this term as the Tryune Concept.
Don attended college on an athletic scholarship and then embarked on a 30-year career in the oil and gas industry. Since the year 2000, he has been a consultant for distributors and manufacturers of various industries. Along the way, he worked on his Tryune discovery in hopes of someday sharing his findings with those struggling unnecessarily... in life. What Don surmised from 40+ years of R&D was that people were struggling unnecessarily because they were not aware that “life works in threes.” They, for the most part, have been living their lives by chance rather than by choice he also discovered.
From this, he began focusing on the “mechanics of life” which shows formulas for success with subjects such as life, health, money, purpose and so forth. When people are able to grasp the Tryune Concept, they can apply the formulas with topics that interest them and begin eliminating the struggle. This epiphany is what triggered his Tryune venture and is now on the path of sharing with all who desire to improve on their lives.
Don currently resides in Southern California and Texas while overseeing his businesses and investments.
I have always had a penchant for using analogies and in this particular case, I'm going to go with the analogy of baking a cake...to make a point.
Let's pretend that you're on a camping trip and have been put in charge of the cooking (because you're really good at it!). In the hurrying to buy groceries and pack them, you show up at the camping site ready to cook.
The burgers and hotdogs are done and now you want to bake a cake to surprise a special person for their birthday during this trip. You get everything out that you need but then discover that you forgot to pack the eggs. Since there is no store nearby, you decide to go ahead and mix the cake ingredients that you do have and "everything should turn out alright anyway." Lo and behold, you pull the cake out of the portable oven and it is all flat and rubbery. It has some taste to it but obviously it didn't turn out successfully.
Whether you knew it or not, it is an absolute, scientific fact that you must include eggs to have success with baking a cake. The internet has the scientific explanation as to what eggs do when mixed with flour and milk. No matter how many times you try baking without the eggs...you will never succeed in baking a cake. It was true a thousand years ago and it will be true a thousand years and beyond, going forward.
So here's the point. The triune examples I've shared in the "PROOF" section are indisputable facts. You can ignore them. You can defy them. But at the end of the day, three parts make up the whole. Once we accept that principle, then we can confidently proceed with creating success/harmony in whatever area we are struggling with. Is this a law? Is this a command? No, not at all. It's just the way life works. Dare I say, life has been this way since the beginning of time? Like 13+ billion years? That's a little dramatic. I prefer to take a light-hearted approach and just say "Hey, similar to baking a cake, you gotta have all three ingredients to overcome your struggle."
I converted the word "Triune" to "Tryune" to invite all to "try" this concept. I always say "Don't take my word for it. Put it to the toughest test you can think of and see for yourself if this works or not." After 40+ years of testing it, I am now comfortable sharing this concept with everyone because I've seen it work firsthand...in my own life.
